The NCGLL strives to comply with the US Lacrosse Youth rules and we refer you to US Lacrosse Rules page. However, our league has made minor adjustments to some rules. The NCGLL Rules Document below should be used as a quick reference to view a brief summary of rules for each division.
Players may not compete on teams more than 2 years outside of their division as determined by US Age Guidelines (i.e. 5th grader may NOT play up on a ⅞ grade 14U team) unless there are extenuating circumstances
Players are not allowed to compete on a team below their division as determined by USL guidelines (i.e. a 5th grader may NOT play on a ¾ grade 10U team) unless there are extenuating circumstances
